Calico Ghost Town
Yermo
Ghost Town Medium Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
Once a booming silver-mining town with 3,500 residents and 22 saloons, Calico was abandoned in 1896 when silver prices collapsed. Restored and donated to San Bernardino County in 1966, it now draws tourists — and paranormal investigators drawn by its well-documented haunting. The ghost of Lucy Lane, an early settler, is reported in the schoolhouse. Shadow figures move between the original adobe structures after dark. The mine tunnels beneath the town generate EVPs so consistently that investigation teams schedule return visits.
